GG — the human
behind SFM

I’m GG, the human behind SFM. My background brings together more than 20 years in property, asset and facilities management, experience in environmental services, and formal training in security operations.

I’ve worked across commercial, retail, industrial, government, transport and airport environments, with responsibilities spanning property operations, contractors, leases, budgets, risk and compliance. My environmental services experience includes service and sales management. That broader background shapes how I look at a property: the people who use it, its day-to-day operation, its risks and its long-term care.

My vision for SFM

My vision for SFM is to give property owners and managers one clear point of contact for practical advice and accountable follow-through. I want to bring property, security, facilities and environmental considerations together to support safer, better-run and responsibly managed places. Technology should make communication and records easier; I remain personally involved in the advice, decisions and follow-through.

Heating, ventilation and air conditioning need more than a reactive call-out. Build a clear asset list and keep service history, defects and contractor recommendations together.

What should the register capture?
  • Equipment IDs, locations, service scope and responsible contractor.
  • Filter, condensate, ventilation and performance observations recorded by the service provider.
  • Cooling-tower inspection, water-treatment and test records where applicable.
  • Recurring faults, occupant complaints, recommendations and evidence of close-out.
